Elissa Khoury started off her singing career in the early '90s on a talent show, "Studio el Fan," in which she won the silver medal on LBC.
After a long absence, she came back with a Spanish-Arabic single, titled "Badi Doub" in 1998. Her first album Baddi Doub was one of the largest-selling albums in Lebanon and the Middle East, selling over 150,000 copies. The album's success resulted in her participation in the renowned International Music Festival in Cannes in 2000.
Ever since Elissa has been releasing hit after hit some of which are “Bastannak”,”Awakher El Shiti”,”Ayyami Beek”,”Bitmoun”… resulting in her countless number of local and international awards.
Elissa’s latest album was “Tesaddak Bimin” thanks to this album, Elissa won the 2010 World Music Award for best selling artist of the Middle East, she also won the Big Apple Music Award Best Female Singer, and the Murex d'Or award for Best Lebanese Singer for the third time.
